Climbing for Hope: Our Snowdon Trek Raises £13,000 for Bereaved Families

On Friday, 19th July, an amazing group of 23 dedicated supporters laced up their boots and took on the mighty Mount Snowdon—all in support of Little Wings of Hope and the bereaved families we walk alongside every day.

The team, made up of individuals from all walks of life, united with one shared purpose: to raise awareness of baby loss and vital funds for the work we do. And they did just that—raising an incredible £13,000 between them!

A Climb With a Deeper Meaning

This wasn’t just a physical challenge. For many, it was an emotional one too. Each step up the mountain was taken in memory of a baby gone too soon, a show of solidarity for grieving families, and a powerful reminder that love never ends.

To make the journey even more meaningful, we carried with us a beautiful banner bearing the names of precious babies—each one remembered, loved, and never forgotten. When we reached the summit, we proudly unfurled the banner at the top of Snowdon, letting the world know who we were climbing for. It was a deeply moving moment that will stay with us forever.

One participant shared:

“There were moments it felt tough, but thinking about the strength of the families Little Wings of Hope supports kept us going. Every step meant something.”

Your Support is Changing Lives

The funds raised from this trek will go directly towards helping families navigate the heartbreak of baby loss—through emotional support, remembrance services, family connection events, and direct support.

Little Wings of Hope exists to remind families they are not alone—and thanks to our incredible Snowdon team and generous donors, we can continue offering that vital support.

Thank You

To everyone who took part, sponsored a climber, or sent encouraging words—thank you. Your compassion and energy continue to light the path forward for so many.

We are endlessly proud of this team and deeply moved by the impact their journey has made.
